Lauren May SK

Lauren is a natural history artist with a love for leaves, petals, and all things delightfully wild. Based in Lake Macquarie NSW, she brings the beauty of the outdoors to life with pencil, paint, and paper, carefully capturing nature just as she finds it. She holds a First Class Honours degree in Natural History Illustration, and her work is held in respected collections in Australia and the United States. Lauren regularly exhibits with leading botanical art groups and is an active member of the Sydney Florilegium and the Botanical Art Society of Australia. Join Lauren for our weekly watercolour classes and workshops throughout the year.

Pat Davidson

Meet Pat, artist, teacher, mentor, and textile wizard with over 40 years of experience. Based in Lake Macquarie, she combines traditional and modern textile techniques, often using native plants from her garden, while exploring women’s lives, history, and social justice through her work. Pat has exhibited widely, earned a Master’s with distinction, and is featured in Masters of Their Craft. She loves making art and inspiring others to find their creative spark, sharing her skills, knowledge, and passion with students of all levels. Keen to learn more from Pat? Estelle Lishman

Based in Mulubinba (Newcastle), Estelle is a practicing artist with a Bachelor of Creative Industries and Honours in Visual Communication. Her work explores art, ecology, and local history, blending experimental paint-making with traditional watercolour techniques. She is currently pursuing a PhD on sustainable, place-based art practices. With over seven years of teaching experience across all ages, Estelle loves both teaching and learning from her students. She is passionate about making art accessible, engaging, and fun. Join her for Make & Create Mondays at Picture Point Gallery to explore your creativity in a welcoming environment.

Robyn Woodward

Robyn has loved painting her whole life, starting oils at age eight under renowned artist Raymond DeCusak. After studying Fine Art at Penrith TAFE and UWS Nepean, she became a professional artist in 1993.  Specialising in Trompe L’oeil murals, she creates life-sized, perspective-driven illusions for restaurants, cafes, bookshops, corporations, and homes across New South Wales and as far as Hamilton Island. Now, Robyn shares her skills at Picture Point Gallery, leading Thursday drawing classes where students of all levels can explore their creativity and refine their techniques.
