ALL ABILITIES ALL MEDIUMS ART COURSE. Minimum 6 students - Maximum 12 students. This All abilities Drawing and Painting Course runs for 3 hrs from 9:30 am-12:30 pm. Day: FRIDAYS. Each class is $59 making the total for four weeks $236. This course is perfect for absolute beginners wanting to learn to draw or paint, as well as for those with a desire to pick up their pencils or brushes from an artistic past. In this course you have the choice of drawing with pencils or chalk pastels and painting with watercolour or acrylic paints, who knows, you may choose to do all four! Within each easy-to-follow class session, you will be guided through a variety of painting and drawing approaches to expand your knowledge and skills. Each class session will follow a different theme and within these themes, you will be able to progressively build on your learning and enhance your artistic confidence. Each class with have a different theme and you will learn : *Colour comprehension including mixing, layering and blending *Brushwork techniques and control *Form and dimension *Shadows and highlights *Creative composition *Proportion and perspective *Scale, light and tone *Developing pattern and texture *Creating depth *Working with varied mediums and solvents WHAT IS PROVIDED: Different mediums and tools will be provided, and packs can be purchased for $25, but students are also welcome and encouraged to bring their own.
