10.00am to 12.00pm Minimum 5 Students - Maximum 10 Students Join us for Near and Far, a workshop all about creating depth and space in your art! We’ll explore perspective in landscapes, looking at how to use lineal perspective (think vanishing points and horizon lines) to give your work a real sense of distance. You’ll also discover aerial perspective — how colour, light, and softness can suggest things getting further away. We’ll cover abstract composition too, learning how to build exciting images that still feel balanced and spacious, even without realistic details. Plus, we’ll look at how colour intensity and contrast can help you show what's close and what's far away in your paintings. Whether you love working realistically or abstractly, this workshop will give you lots of new tools to play with. All materials provided — just bring your brushes and imagination! We will provide acrylic paints, but if you wish to use a different medium, feel free to bring them along.
